Adam Tisdell is a marijuana defense attorney at Tisdell Law Firm. His practice is limited to marijuana defense and federal drug crimes. Tisdell Law Firm has grown over the years and now has multiple attorneys that handle all criminal defense matters. Tisdell Law Firm has also expanded to a multistate firm with offices in Texas and Colorado. Mr. Tisdell’s Texas practice extends throughout the state with the goal of creating a network of marijuana defense attorneys with the knowledge of the current laws, problems and politics behind the ending marijuana prohibition.
Prior to starting Tisdell Law Firm he was a founding partner of Blackburn & Tisdell, L.L.P. where he focused on all areas of criminal defense. After leaving the Marine Corps he graduated summa cum laude from University of Texas at Arlington in 2005 with a B.A. in Criminal Justice and Criminology. He then attended Texas Tech University and graduated with a J.D. in 2008. Mr. Tisdell started his legal career as the felony public defender for the 69th Judicial District.
Mr. Tisdell is admitted to practice law in Texas, Oregon, Colorado and before the U.S. District Court for the Northern and Western Districts of Texas and the U.S. District Court for the District of Colorado. He is a lifetime member of the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (N.O.R.M.L), a lifetime member of the National Criminal Defense Lawyers Association and member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association. Mr. Tisdell holds the Lawyer-Scientist designation from the American Chemical Society and is the only criminal defense attorney in the State to have been rated by Super Lawyers three years in a row for Cannabis Law.
